From 12–15 August 2024, DISACT researcher Nikandros Ioannidis participated in the 2024 General Conference of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), held at University College Dublin, Ireland. Ioannidis presented the article titled “Shifting Shadows: The Impact of International Accountability on Repertoires of Violence Dynamics in Conflict Zones.” co-authored with Iosif Kovras. The presentation explored how the presence of UN peacekeeping bases influences the dynamics and nature of violent incidents in conflict zones.
