From 4–6 September 2024, DISACT researcher Nikandros Ioannidis participated in the 61st Annual Conference of the Conflict Research Society (CRS), held at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Ioannidis presented the article “The Afterlife of Violence: Strategic Exhumations in Post-Conflict Settings,” co-authored with Marisol Intriago-Leiva, Maria Mikelide, and Iosif Kovras. The conference provided an opportunity to share key findings from the DISACT project and to engage with broader academic communities working on conflict and post-conflict studies.
